Post Falls Animal Safety  has many wonderful dogs waiting to find a loving home.  These animals have a very short time (3-5 days) to find a home before being euthanized, so please visit their web site at www.petfinder.com and enter "Dog" in animal, "Post Falls, Idaho" into City/State, and "Regional" into site to view their photos and descriptions.

River's Wish Animal Sanctuary~ is a 501c-3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescuing of animals in need.  They provide shelter and care to rabbits primarily, but also offer sanctuary to dogs, cats, goats, horses, sheep and pigs.  Their goal is to provide them with permanent and loving homes. 

Since 1995 they have fostered and placed hundreds of dogs, cats and rabbits.  The sanctuary is named after their beloved dog, River. River's Wish is situated on 65 acres in Spokane county.  Caring for the animals at River's Wish requires immense amounts of time and money.  If you would like to make a Tax deductible donation please visit their web site...

Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Services  serves the residents of  the unincorporated areas of Spokane County, the City of Spokane Valley, the Town of Millwood, the City of Cheney and Fairchild Air Force Base.  The County shelter is located at 2521 North Flora Road in the Spokane Valley.  They have many beautiful animals looking for a loving, safe home!

Greyhound Pets of Greater Northwest   is a non-profit greyhound rescue and adoption organization that serves the Greater Northwest.  It was founded to find homes for retired racing greyhounds and transports greyhounds from tracks all over the United States.
